Where the work happens
The World Village is a multi-day Arts and Humanities event that is host to several multi-national performing groups representing Idahos variety of cultures. This Dance, Music, Storytelling, Poetry, Film and Food event showcases our communitys expanding blend of cultural arts and literature, and invites every resident to connect with…
Global Lounge sponsors an annual event called Salsa Under the Stars. We partner with a local non-profit that provides dance space on the top of their building that is open on top; a DJ is hired to play Latino dance music. Community members come to dance and learn the various forms of Salsa.
Global Lounge sells promotional products as a means to earn funds to support our programs. GL has an inventory of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats that are sold at World Village. Global Lounge has recently begun working with a local coffee vendor to package coffee beans with the Global Lounge logo.
