Legal Defense Fund

Daca renewal scholarships and immigration legal defense in court. Direct assistance legal aid to 50 daca eligible locals.

22,000 in 1000 cash grants distributed directly to low- income summit residents left out of all other pandemic assistance. Also received funding from the state of colorado's covid relief effort to coordinate equity work in summit county.

Community Outreach

MD held an advocacy and education event at which prominent locals "became" DREAMERS/DACA recipients as they read the stories of the young immigrants from the immigrant's perspective. Approximately 100 people attended the event.
