Leon County Farm Bureau participated in Farm City Week. This is a time to bridge the gap between those living on farms and ranches and those living in urban areas. Many activities highlight the interdependency between rural and urban citizens and the important contributions made by agriculture to our every day lives.

Leon County Farm Bureau actively participates in events with bring agriculture education to the youth in our community. We participated in Ag Literacy Day. This programs aims to educate students where there food comes from especially our urban population.

In February we participated in Food Check-Out Day. This annual event is meant to bring awareness to the public of the abundance of fresh and nutrious food available to consumers at affordable prices.
