Lake County Farm Bureau participate in the Lake County Leadership program. This is an 8-month program to develop leadership and expose the participants to in depth workings of Lake County. During Agriculture Day participants learn about he challenges that agriculture faces and learn about the agriculture diversity in our county.

Lake County Farm Bureau participated in the annual University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Farm Tours. Attendees have the opportunity to explore local farms, learn about sustainable practices, and connect with the agricultural community.

Lake County Farm Bureau held its annual speech contest. Students were asked to research an agricultural related topic. Each year students learn about current topics impacting agriculture while developing public speaking and research skills.
