Jackson County Farm Bureau spoke on behalf of a coalition of producers, agricultural associations and local families to the Board of County Commissioners the the importance of agriculture in Jackson County and its impact on the community.

Farm City Week is a time to raise awareness of the public about the importance of agriculture in our community. We used this event to increase understanding, cooperation and relationships between rural and urban residents.

We promote the betterment of agriculture through hands on experience for our youth at the Panhandle Youth Expo and Feed Cattle show. Students are taught discipline, patience, and how to care for livestock while they prepare them for exhibits.
