Rainbow house operates a shelter which is licensed to accomodate 16-20 at- risk children and adolescents, including two infants. Currently the shelter keeps an average of 20 children per day an average length of approximately 90 - 180 days.

Rainbow house also operates an advocacy center for children. The advocacy center works with law enforcement and the department of family and childrens services regarding abuse of minors and provides counseling, advocacy, forensic interviews and forensic medical exams for children.
