Crisis Response, Victim Advocacy & Child Protection
In 2024, Mosaic Georgia conducted 554 child forensic interviews in collaboration with the Gwinnett County Multidisciplinary Team (MDT). The Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) Advocacy Program received 52 referrals for 47 youth; 36 were confirmed as commercially sexually exploited and 11 confirmed not trafficked.
Medical Forensic Services
The Organization?s medical team provided 362 medical encounters in 2024, including 325 medical forensic exams and 37 follow-up visits. Of these, 222 were acute (within 120 hours of assault) and 103 were delayed pediatric exams for past-abuse disclosures.
Prevention Education
The Organization delivered 12 prevention education sessions to 955 participants across K-12 schools, colleges, and community groups. Topics included teen dating violence, family and school violence, mental-health and self-care for teens, and healthy relationships.
