Operation Christmas Child (occ)

Through this project, samaritan's purse collects and delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to hurting children around the world. We do this to demonstrate god's love, gain a hearing for the gospel, and share the true meaning of christmas-the birth of jesus christ, our lord and savior.

In february 2022, russia launched a full-scale invasion of ukraine. Samaritan's purse deployed approximately 700 staff and worked with over 3000 partner churches, groups, and individuals inside ukraine to provide assistance including food, water, shelter, wood stoves, fuel, clothing, and medical care to more than 11 million people…
