Mission: our healing mission is to improve the lives of individuals struggling with mental illness or other mental health challenges by helping them work towards achieving their highest levels of functioning and fulfillment. Vision: we envision a future where the stigma against individuals with mental health conditions has disappeared, where all individuals with mental illness will have the opportunity to recover, and where these individuals will be accepted into their communities as responsible and contributing citizens. We believe that recovery from serious mental illness is possible. We also believe that recovery comes in different forms. At our residential treatment centers, we give our residents the right to define their mental health recovery, whether it's to live independently, gain satisfying employment or achieve a higher level of meaningful social interaction. Our story: cooperriis INC, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in western north carolina. IT was founded in

Cooperriis, Mill Spring, NC Location (farm)

Our mill spring facility accomodates up to 36 adults on its rural campus in mill spring, north carolina (polk county). See schedule o for more information.

Our asheville facility accomodates up to 24 adults on its urban campus in asheville, north carolina (buncombe county).

Cooperriis, Asheville Community Program

After an average stay of five to eight months at either of our two main campuses, about one-half of residents move into our community program. We offer approximately 5 community transitional homes (level b) spread throughout the buncombe county area. Our community program level b can accomodate up to 21 adults.
