The Grand Lodge is the statewide organization that governs the operation of all masonic lodges operating under charters granted to them by the Grand Lodge. All such lodges operate within the commonwealth of Virginia, although not all masonic lodges in Virginia are chartered by this organization. Masonic lodges teach the principle of the brotherhood of man under the fatherhood of god.
