Women's Rights

In 2023, actionaid continued its longstanding support for women in the global south through the creation and dissemination of several impactful publications highlighting the success of our young urban women (yuw) programs across the world.

Emergency Response

In 2023, actionaid responded to major crises in gaza, TURKEY/SYRIA, and morocco. In february, two powerful earthquakes struck turkey and syria in the span of 12 hours. More than 55,000 people were estimated to have lost their lives, while many more were injured and displaced.
