Where the work happens
The CSS Food Pantry Program operates two food pantries which are open a total of three times per week. There is no charge for food distributed at the pantries or for grocery delivery to homes of individuals unable to attend the pantry.
Chapel House, the Senior Home for low or moderate income independent seniors provided a clean, comfortable, secure home during the year ended June 30, 2020 for four individuals. Rent was charged on sliding scale based on the individuals' income.
The CSS Client Assistance Program had hundreds of beneficiaries during in the year that ended June 30, 2020. Clients received a variety of services including direct rent assistance, help paying utilities and other bills, help writing resumes, filling out energy assistance requests, obtaining school supplies for their children, working…
