Crime Coverage Summit

In partnership with RTDNA convened 79 TV news directors and executives for a crime coverage summit in San Diego. Training featured expert speakers who tackled racial bias, business pressures, solutions-oriented approaches to coverage, journalism ethics and staff support, as well as growing police department restrictions on newsgathering.

Future of the American Child Fellowships

Held two trainings to provide journalists with the contextual depth and sources needed to amplify key challenges for American children. The first training took place in McAllen, Texas due to its location on the U.S.-Mexico border where journalists heard from experts on immigrant policy and toured the Catholic Charities Rio Grande Valley…
