This organization provided housing to qualified elderly persons through the operation of a 56-unit multi-family housing complex in kingman, arizona. The organization provided decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing to 57 residents: 2% under 62 (spouse), 78% between the ages 62-80; and 20% between ages 81-95 and 0% over 96. Of this resident population, 36% were identified as at-risk elderly, and 19% were identified as frail elderly. Harrison Haven has a service coordinator who assists residents in obtaining needed supportive services from community agencies. This service coordinator is a valuable resource person who assisted residents with services such as: advocacy, assessments, healthcare services, benefits/entitlements/insurance, crisis intervention/supportive counseling, home management, legal assistance, substance abuse, alternative housing, translation/interpretation and transportation. Along with providing these resources, the service coordinator arranged the following e
