Part III Program Service Accomplishments

The Cesar E Chavez March for Justice. Comprised of local community organizations, businesses, private and public schools and universities, this annual event is a day in which the community of San Antonio and Bexar County unite to pay tribute to Cesar E Chavez and to address the issues important to the community.

The CECLEF Scholarship Fund awarded twenty-one (21) college scholarships to area high school seniors in 2024. The total amount awarded in scholarships was $52,500. The Jaime P. Martinez Thanksgiving in the Barrio is an event and community outreach effort to help address food insecurity that especially impacts the inner city. The targeted area for impact is in the 78207 zip code which is the poorest zip code when measuring annual income per household.
