Federal Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act Programs

Provided employment and training services statewide to approximately 1,431 participants with program activities such as classroom training, work experience and on the job training, career readiness programs, etc.

Native hawaiian career and technical education program (nhctep): contributed to native hawaiians' self-sufficiency by providing vocational, career and technical education and training programs. Alu like umbrellas a consortium of partners that include institutions of higher education, a high school and a maritime training organization.

Kumu Kahi (elderly Services)

Promotes health in mind and body , health and nutrition education to elders to manage their chronic diseases and increase their ability to age in place. Transportation is provided to and from program sites, as well as for shopping, medical appointments, and to access other services.
