Operation of a facility for all in-house robotics teams and educational activities, including the operation of machine shop, classroom spaces, computer lab, common tools, storage units and travel trailer. Revenue from vending sales $1,148. Grant from St. Vrain Valley School District ($50,794) and City of Longmpnt ($63000).

Accomplishment

Operation of competitive robotics teams for school age children competing in FIRST robotics competitions. The GEAR Alliance supports on high school level team (FRC) (~80 students), one middle/high school level team (FTC) (~15 students) and six elementary level (FLL)teams (~ 40 students).

Operation of STEM summer camps and drop-in programming for school aged children. Typically camps are a week long, offered to the public and organized and taught by our high school students.
