The Clubhouse, though once a think tank for advancing Latino civil rights in the United States, has been empty since 2013 and sits between 2 neighborhoods facing rapid change. During 2018, a grant was received to rehabilitate the club house. Work has begun, including reinforcement of the building's damaged roof, foundation, and walls.
