Empower

We experienced turnover with our case worker and hired a new case worker in february 2020. She worked closely with our team to enhance the services and support we provide our survivors, with a focus on providing survivors with the skills to become increasingly independent and successful on their own.

COVID-19 had a negative impact on our ability to reach out to people, but we were able to shift gears to offer virtual education events and ended the year having hosted 14 events and reaching 596 people.

COVID-19 had a negative impact on our ability to reach out to people, but we were able to shift gears to offer virtual enlightenment events and ended the year having hosted 30 events and reaching 1,609 people. This was down from 42 events and 3,179 people in 2019.
