Department Service Office/Hospital Transportation Network

Provides assistance to veterans and dependents in filing claims for benefits. Transports veterans to va medical centers and clinics. Transported 3,338 veterans, drove 251,218 miles, and volunteers gave 11,255 hours of their time during the year.

Service to Chapters

Provides assistance to nine disabled american veterans chapters throughout south dakota. Conduct seminars, conferences, and conventions to provide information on benefits, programs, and services to their membership, families, and other veterans.

Bulletin Program

The dav publishes a quarterly bulletin to keep members informed about developments affecting the federal benefits and services they've earned. Dav brochures and other informational programs inform disabled veterans and their families of free services and assist others through dav volunteer programs.
