Wild Seed Project hand-collected and sold approximately 21,500 packets of seed to promote the propagation of Maine native plants. The propagation of these seeds will lead to hundreds of thousands of native plants in the ground and help restore critical habitat, increase resiliency in the face of climate change and provide beauty and joy…

Pledge to Rewild Program

Wild Seed Project continues to expand the "Pledge to Rewild" program with the purpose of encouraging individuals to make a commitment to restoring native plants in all landscape settings. During 2021 nearly 1000 individuals took the pledge and received weekly guidance on how to rewild their porches, sidewalks, yards, parks, etc.

Publication

Wild Seed Project successfully produced and sold a publication called Native Trees for Northeast Landscapes, the purpose of which is to educate the people about the importance of native trees and their uses in the landscape. As evidenced by sales and distribution, over 2,000 people were educated via the publication.
