The foundation will fund research for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ("als") also widely known as "lou gehrig's desease." the foundation will also fund outreach for families and patients affected by als. The foundation will provide grants to als clinics as part of this effort. Als clinics are typically affiliated with hospital systems.
