Vetsintech (vit) education programs connect transitioning veterans to training and follow-on employment opportunities. Over 250k service members leave the military annually according to the dod. Vit education programs focus on cybersecurity, web development and salesforce administration.

For veterans who aspire to start their own business, vit sponsors programs like hackathons, pitch events, discussions with prominent tech leaders, and representatives of the venture capital community.

Employment

Employment programs include resume writing, self-marketing, and interview skills. Firms in the vit employer coalition send recruiters and hiring managers to events to evaluate and recruit veterans. Vit creates the environment where in-person interviews and reviews of resumes take place, bypassing electronic sorting and filtering.
