Western rivers forestry was formed in 2013 to support the conservation and charitable purposes of western rivers conservancy. In december 2013, western rivers forestry acquired 8,489 acres of land along tributaries to northern california's klamath river. In march 2015, western rivers forestry purchased an additional 6,479 acres of land.
