With the end of the project planning phase in 2025 and subsequent move into project execution the organization evolved the focus of its efforts to fundraising in order to meet the commitments to the City of Walnut Creek. While material funds were raised the first disbursement to the City was not required until early 2026

In 2025 City of Walnut Creek selected a contractor to build the aquatics facility with the support of the Walnut Creek Aquatics Foundation. This marked the transition from a project planning phase to an implementation execution phase
