Sanctuary for Abused and Neglected Equines

The foundation providesrescue and sanctuary to abused, neglected and abandoned horses who haveno other alternative for life. To help fund our sanctuary operationsand the care of our approximately 60 equines, we have "friends ofequamore".

Oregon Hay Bank

The oregon hay bank provides assistance to responsiblehorse owners facing financial crisis with hay and feed assistance, hoofcare and veterinary services so they can keep their horses at home. Wehave a high success rate with this program in that over 90% of horseshelped remain in their homes - and do not need to become equamorehorses.

Education

We are determined to educate the public not only about oursanctuary and our horses, but about the significant problem of unwantedhorses and horse abuse and neglect nationally. We include thisinformation in newsletters, events, presentations, sanctuary tours, andour web site.
