Kulm Community Development Corp was awarded 2 grants in 2024 to fund the construction of a new health clinic building and it will also house the volunteer ambulance office and equipment. The building project was started in 2025 with intentions to be operational in 2026.

Kulm Hometown Events are providing community engagements to support the entire community through the annual Kulm Hometown Events celebration which includes events such as concerts, contests, Bingo, kids games, petting farm animals, rodeos, and raffles.

The laundromat was opened in 2020 to accomodate an influx of windtower workers with their needs. The idea was to keep these workers from leaving town and supporting other community grocery and hardware stores. This business now operates at a loss, but still serves the community.
