Food Security Coalition (fsc)

The FSC led a campaign to raise awareness of the issue of senior hunger and the need to make it easier for seniors to apply for SNAP. The coalition also built a base of support for a campaign to increase the number of school children receiving access to free meals at school.

Affordable Housing Coalition (ahc)

The AHC continued to advance a tenant organizing program in Southwest Missouri. The tenant union in Springfield, MO now has nearly 100 card-carrying members, and there is a leadership group of tenants in Columbia preparing to launch a new tenant union in their city.

Criminal Justice Coalition (cjc)

The CJC's largest accomplishment for the year was a public education campaign about Clean Slate, or automated records expungement. We built a coalition of over 50 organizations advocating for the issue, educated dozens of legislators about the collateral consequences of criminal records, and mobilized over 100 individuals to submit…
