Nascent also started to implement its five-year (2019-2024) McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition program in Malawi. The objective of the program is to improve the literacy of school-age children and promote the use of good health and nutrition practice.
1. A 2020 International Food Relief Partnership (IFRP) grant to implement an 18 months program to benefit 3,800 children in Bomi County in Liberia. The objective of the project was to reduce the prevalence of malnutrition among young children. Nascent distributed 34.56 metric tons of a shelf-stable prepackaged food commodity.
