Education

Operating in a pandemic is hard, especially since so much of nami minnesota's work involves connecting to people. Building on what we learned during the last quarter of fy 2020, we managed to increase the number of people served through our classes and maintained 50% of our support groups.

Public Awareness

Raising awareness about mental health and mental illnesses was especially important during the pandemic. We offered more in our own voice programs, where people share their story of recovery, to roughly the same number of people as last year.

Public Policy

Nami minnesota is a leader in the public policy arena and participates in different task forces and advisory committees to ensure that elected officials and policy makers are aware of the needs of children and adults with mental illnesses and their families and how they can be met.
