The danish american center is the community center for the danish community in and about the twin cities area. One of the goals of the center is to provide facilities to its community. Priority for use of space will be:- danish american center events and activitites- danish american center members- affiliated and associated groups

Wednesday lunches are held approximately 20 times a year. Average attendance is 40 members. Danish recipes are served. Program includes songs and guest speakers. This is an opportunity for fellowship, particularly among seniors, as approximately 80% to 90% of thory year since the early 20TH century.

Danish day gathers more than 400 people and includes guest speakers, danish food, displays, booths, music, crafts, and folk dances. Danish day is the celebration of denmark's constitution and is a tradition with deep roots in minnesota's danish-american community. It has been celebrated every year since the early 20TH century.
