Unity noticed a gap in care for individuals who were facing a serious illness and did not qualify for hospice. Many of these individuals may have been receiving curative treatments or may have had a limiting but indeterminate prognosis.
Grief Services
This program ensures that, following the death of a friend or loved one, no one has to walk alone. Unity provides follow-up care--mailings, phone calls, personal visits, and group support--to meet the individual needs of each person.
