The wioa adult, dislocated worker, youth and rapid response programs are designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training and supportive services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skills workers they need to complete…

Workit program served 511 young adults between the ages of 17 and 29 with barriers to employment utilizing case management, work and needs assessments, job preparation, education and skills training, work-based learning programs, on-the-job training and supportive services over a 4.9 year period.

The independent living grant serves youth aging out of the foster care system by providing education, employment, housing and health and well-being services to support self-sufficiency and become successful adults. Approximately 50 youth were served in this program during the year.
