Where the work happens
The enrichment center serves adults living with mental illness that are referred by their mental health provider. In 2024, we had 31 active members in the enrichment center. The activities of the center include outings, workshops, peer socialization, and other scheduled special activities.
In 2024, nami rock county provided 2 mental health training sessions for 8 youth leaders of a local high school peer mental health support program, worked with youth in 6 area schools, and provided 4 mental health and suicide prevention presentations. In total serving approximately 95 students.
Annual crisis intervention training class held for law enforcement, other first responders, and community. Between each class, 37 people were trained. The class for law enforcement is 5 days and the class for community partners is 5 days.
