There is collaboration with all 5 cooperative invasive species management areas (cisma) across the up to expand detection efforts for the aquatic michigan watch list species, european frog-bit. Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program

Life after phragmites: wetland restoration and landowner stewardship--the up phragmites coalition worked in 7 counties in michigan's upper peninsula to provide stewardship and a sustainable management program to landowners resulting in 200 acres of invasive phragmites treated.
