St. Vincent Catholic Charities (stvcc) is a local, charitable, non-profit dedicated to partnering with children, families and adults, of all beliefs who are living in crisis, and helping them to find hope and safety so they can thrive. The combined expertise of our staff and the investment of our community is an essential part of our services which include stvcc adoption, foster care, refugee resettlement, immigration law clinic, counseling center, volunteer opportunities and more.

Child Welfare Programs

Foster care- foster care provides temporary family homes for children in the community who are victims of abuse or neglect. Supportive services are provided as needed. Foster families provide stable family care for temporary wards of the court with the hope of reestablishing the natural family or finding permanent adoptive homes.

Refugee services is the receiving program in Mid-Michigan, through which refugees resettle in the community. Refugee services assist in arranging housing, healthcare, and community orientation for refugees.
