01

Provide scholarships to high school students; educational programs for vets regarding latest regulations affecting them; members participate on school programs, share war experiences, teach history of our country. Send several boys to "boys state" every year. Sponsor and promote honor flight for wwii veterans. Sponsor girl scouts.

Special events are held throughout the year for disabled veterans from area va hospital. Holiday DINNERS/ENTERTAINMENT for servicemen stationed at great lakes. Provide transportation and gifts for disabled veterans to attend the holiday events.

Memorial Day Extravaganza

2 hour parade, flyover honoring veterans from all wars, acknowledged veterans and local pows during the ceremonies at the village park.
