Under normal conditions, the organization attends major industry trade shows to be in contact with members, make contact with potential members to explain benefits, and meet with other members of the industry to discuss and suggest ideas on important issues. The trade shows are tax-exempt.

The association runs a major meeting inviting all members for educational activities and discussions on the status and future of the electronic industry. The members include sals representatives, distributors and manufacturers of electronic products.
