Generation and CMI Kidz provided weekly classes and professional development training for young dancers ages 5-17; A lighting workshop was held in the theatre to teach them about stage lighting and how to write lighting cues for their own piece performed in May 2022.
Capitol Movement engaged in over 100 dancers ages 18+ in open weekly classes and two 2 master classes in Contemporary and Hip-Hop hosted in Capitol Hill. In January 2022 our workshop series featured West-Cost - based contemporary artist Cal Coglandro and Hip-Hop Artist Keenan Cooks who then set a piece on our Generation Next and adult…
Within the 2022 School Year the After School Dance Outreach Program at Payne Elementary School located in Ward 6 engaged in over 125 students in PK3 through 2nd grades in weekly dance creative movement and tumbling classes.
