The organization houses and provides care for injured, abused, and abandoned animals. Medical care is provided on an as-needed basis, which is determined during examination of the animal. The organization cares for these animals by providing food, shelter, and appropriate care until these animals have been adopted.

The board has approved humble creatures veterinary clinic to do SPAY/NEUTERS. All animals are transported, altered, and returned to the shelter. This cost is being passed on in the adoption fees paid when a pet it placed in a forever home.

Licenses are purchased from the county auditors office and sold for all canines that will remain in stark county. The shelter receives a $0.75 agency fee per application processed through the shelter.
