Alertfemale genital mutilation (FGM) legislative advocacy and support - in 2021, aha foundation advocacy, along with that of other organizations and individuals, resulted in the reaffirmation of the federal law banning FGM (the stop FGM act of 2020).

Campus critical thinking fellowship (CTF) - in 2021, aha foundation supported active fellows, undergraduate and graduate student leaders, at over 25 college campuses that hosted both virtual and in-person events to promote ayaan's ideas about women's rights and confronting political islam.

Creating networks to confront islamism - aha foundation's global advisory council hosted a virtual working group meeting to bring together muslim reformers, ex-muslims, and stakeholders, where they agreed on core principles, branding, strategy, and began the planning for a 2022 conference.
