During Fiscal Year 2020-2021 South County Economic Development Council SCEDC accomplished the following Conducted business outreach, assisting over 1,000 businesses surveying 200 businesses. Funded emergency loans for 44 businesses in order to assist with businesses continuity.

SCEDC educated workforce and companies in the following manner Technical Assistance on accessing capital for businesses in Chula Vista. Digital education on resources and programs available to businesses throughout South San Diego County. Manufacturer access to resources and continuity training to more than 100 local manufacturers.

SCEDC conducted the following forums/meetings/programs COVID-19 Business Roundtables. Conducted Virtual Annual Economic Summit 320 attendees. Virtual Quarterly business interaction 122 attendees. CMTC Manufacturing Outreach working with businesses in manufacturing sector to access resources.
