Volunteer Program

In 2021, Greenroads maintained its volunteer community and continued to collaborate with universities, professional association chapters, our members, Sustainable Transport Professionals (STPs) and industry affiliates as partners.

Education Program

In 2021, due to COVID 19 the traditional activities of in-person education for the Greenroads Sustainable Transportation Education Program remained suspended. The organization hosted a virtual educational conference event with industry keynote speakers, attended by nearly 400 people around the world.

Project Rating Program

In 2021, we supported 12 active project ratings of design and construction projects. Of those completing the rating process, only 1 project totaling 1.8 lane miles successfully certified, located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
