The moving community forward program assisted families in both directly rebuilding damaged homes, replacing lost home goods and restocking food goods lost due to hurricane ida. The individuals participating in this program were referred through community leaders.

The emergency funds program allocated $400.00 per family for any family within our service area directly effected by hurricane ida. These funds were used for fuel and food necessary for basic survival in the days and weeks following the storm.

The float the boat program assisted independent commercial fishermen in replacing equipment and repairing damages due to hurricane ida. Each family was allosed up to $4,999.00. This allowed the fishermen to get back to work much quicker and begin rebuilding their families lives and livelihood. No revenue was made from this program.
