Indianapolis oasis focuses on increasing awareness, knowledge and skills of older adults to address their individual health needs. The classes emphasize physical activities and exercise, nutrition and cooking.

Indianapolis oasis designs and offers educational programs in the areas of arts and humanities for a diverse audience of lifelong learners. Topics range from current events, history, to various topics on the arts, to creative writing. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, classes were offered virtually.

Indianapolis oasis offers a variety of ways for older adults to enrich their lives through volunteer service. The oasis intergenerational tutoring program trains volunteer tutors and matches them with at-risk primary grade children to build reading and language skills.
