Future West Capacity Building Workshop

Future West annually hosts training workshops for non-governmental organizations to help them become more effective in their conservation efforts. This year a workshop was convened at Fairmont Hot Springs titled "How to Be a Community CatalystX and was attended by representatives of dozens of NGOs.

Involvement in Montanans for Safe Wildlife Passage which is a coalition of organizations working to promote the development of programs and projects that reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions and allow for the unobstructed movement of wildlife across the Montana landscape.

Future West facilitated a community planning process for the town of Gardiner Montana titled Successful Gardiner. This project entailed: an analysis of economic and housing conditions, 2. strategies for developing workforce housing strategies for the community, and 3. infill development strategies for community vitality.
