The reading academy is a year-round after school and summer literacy tutoring program. The academy's goal is for all students to read at grade level by the end of third grade. Research shows that students who reach this benchmark are four times more likely to graduate high school and have a successful educational experience.

K ready is an early childhood program designed to provide the resources and tools to help caregivers prepare their children for kindergarten. Research shows that primary indicators of kindergarten readiness are having access to books and being read to at least 20 minutes a day.
