Assist People with Housing

rent, mortgage, temporary lodging, and transient housing. Preclude foreclosure or eviction, assist the unemployed. Assist transients passing through town and those kicked out of home by providing a few nights lodging in local motels. Assisted 78 households in 2023.

Assist people with food, medication, transportation, automobile repairs, gasoline to get to doctor's appointments, and miscellaneous other needs. Assisted 81 households in 2023.

Assist People with Utility Bill Emergencies

heating, electricity, telephone, water. Avoid shut-offs. Pay start-up deposits and re-connect fees for the poor, if needed. Attempt to provide one month's service to enable client to resume paying on his/her own. Assisted 41 households in 2023.
