General Programs and Museum Store

A wide variety of programs and services are covered by this category. This includes daily site tours, lectures, memberships, membership meetings, weddings, exhibits and exhibit previews, and the operation of the harmonist rose museum store. 3,508 guests participated in these programs and activities.

Special Programs

Public programs, such as an american celebration, autumnfest, and christmas at the village, are held throughout the year. These programs give guests the opportunity to learn about harmonist history, various trades and crafts conducted in economy, and what life in general was like in nineteenth century western pennsylvania.

Tours and Classes

These activities are undertaken to teach children and adults about the history of the harmony society and what it was like to live and work in economy in the nineteenth century. During the fiscal year, 1,354 students and adults participated in these programs.
