The fundamental aim of the organization is "to broaden and deepen the understanding of problems in the relationship of man to man, man to society, and man to his natural environment." to this end, the activities of the Foundation include engaging in and sponsoring objective scholarship and research and the publication of proceedings of educational and scholarly symposia and conferences. The organization strives to conserve, preserve, protect, and maintain the Cremona property. This includes its historic buildings, natural woodlands, pastures and fields, wetlands, and rural, scenic, and agricultural characteristics.
